1. Who We Are

KIIP (“we”, “our”, “us”) is operated by SIA “D.sign” (LLC D.sign), registration no. 40103771991, VAT no. LV40103771991, Valdeku street 5-29, Riga, LV-1004, Latvia. We operate the KIIP marketplace and checkout. For the processing described here, KIIP is the controller unless a selling Brand independently determines the purpose and means of processing.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: name, email address, and account identity information.
• Profile data: avatar, bio, style preferences, and saved collections.
• Order data: delivery and billing details, items ordered, payment status, return/refund information, and purchase history.
• Usage data: pages visited, search queries, and interaction events.
• Communication data: messages sent through support or contact channels.

3. How and Why We Use Data

We use data to operate accounts, process checkout and payments, help the selling Brand fulfil an order, manage returns/refunds and support, send transactional messages, improve platform security and performance, send opted-in marketing, and meet legal obligations.

Our legal bases under GDPR are performance of a contract, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, consent for optional marketing/analytics, and legal obligations including tax and accounting requirements.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary with:

• Selling Brands: the Brand selling and fulfilling your order receives information needed to ship it, manage a return, provide support, and issue the goods invoice.
• Payment processor: Stripe processes payments. KIIP does not store full card details.
• Authentication and email providers: Clerk supports account services and Resend delivers email on our behalf.
• Delivery providers: where tracking is available, relevant tracking and delivery information may be exchanged with the selected carrier or tracking service.
• Authorities and advisers: where disclosure is required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. Retention and Security

We retain data only as long as needed for its purpose and applicable legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and security requirements. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data; no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority. To make a request, contact support@thekiip.com.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Optional analytics cookies are used only with the required consent, where applicable.
